I see people here advocating for a competitive/honour clan world when they're apart of clans that don't care about being competitive... instead of trying to convince others to change maybe you should take a good look at your own clan?

Clans nowadays, other than RoT, are more content to sit in their comfort zone and avoid losses at all costs than actually challenge themselves to be better & improve

Let me set the record straight that this is not a thread that is about RoT's or Divine Forces Reputation. As good and juicy as this conversation is, it will be put to an end here. 

As far as clans sitting in their own comfort zone, and the current clan world; I believe that a rankings should be forcefully placed. Not that I believe it will do much, but I hope that it will change the way the public sees our clan world. Let me put it this way; We have a clan world going on right now, that is on a correct course towards self-destruction. There are few, yet drastic/far fetched ways to correct this behavior, but we can and should agree to place a public rankings of clans that follow an honorable role. 

Going back to what saddam said, the idea i like, but nothing to specific. Just broad basic rules you know like:

No Crashing
-No PJing
No Running to Singles 
Accusations of scamming/hacking/ddosing/leaks = should be blacklisted
No Logging

It shouldn't be a choice. It should be forced, that is if we want to continue on with this clan world and transition to a new one. I'll create a clan rankings to see how it all goes. It will be rough, but worth a shot, what does the clan world honestly have to lose. Ill do it this way, Ill post up rankings every week or so with details about a clans battle, and clans will be given a score if they've won or lost or tied. If clans dont follow it, that's fine but EVERY associated with public recaps will be looked into.

wasn't being serious when i posted that honour code, those were the rules followed by rsd and di at the start of rs2 and you wont find one clan that will follow them in 2018, running and logging is something people are proud of nowadays, the most you could hope for would be to bring back no returning wars with boundaries but it looks like clans stopped being interested in f2p multi some time ago. do clans even have real pk trips? seems to be nothing left but single teams and groups of 1 itemers at rev caves chasing pvmers.

Pk trips tend to be centred around Rev caves these days and it's just the age old "food chain" theory in effect. Rev caves are very profitable so it's always got players whether that's PvMers, small groups of friends pking/griefing to large clans hunting each other down and clashing on multiple worlds. You can still find clans in the wild but they tend to be hunting the kids doing PvM at Bear or Venenatis or something.

Look at it this way, clans who refuse to be seen losing a fight will always want ambiguous victory conditions so then the victory comes from whoever can be more convincing to the wider clan commuity with their propaganda and shit talking. You won't find many clans interested in a ranking system because to them the best rank system is the one where they get to say they are the best and everyone else is garbage rather than one that is out of their control.

You have good intentions but you came to the wrong game if you want your plan to succeed. People are double their age from when they first started clanning but have regressed mentally. Best of luck with that though.

Well check this. I drew up an easy little "league" i guess. But it basically checks up on Active PK clans that post recaps on SB/RSC. Rewarding clans for PKRIs and PK trips. It's basically for clans that just aren't to be identified as a pure clan. 

The ranking has:


Violent Resolution
Sovereign
Vengeance
Vanguard
Wild Might

as the top 5 active pking clans out there. 

Disagree if you'd like or vouch for your clan if you wish, but ive found that this system shows publicly which clans pk only when their rivals are out. For example. Revenant, imo a good clan, has the tendency of going out and posting publicly when they've hit CT in the wilderness. Being honest, Rev is doing better than CT only because Rev is publicly stating its pk trips and is making effort to schedule a pkri. The system rewards clans based on its efforts to fight a fair fight, the only downside is public crash attempts. 

JaJa for example. A clan that has posted many pk trips on sb, you'd think they'd be on the right track(if you think they actively post). However, a good portion of their events are seen to be crash attempts, or illegitimate. They have some credible trips though, but most of that is tarnished with bad activity. 

Divine forces. Shows to flex it's power but doesnt have much appearances posting recaps. They do however have much appearances in other clan's recaps. Which shows they're out prowling, but maybe not to satisfied with their results? 



The reason im taking results only from SB/RSC. Is because it is difficult to post something falsified, and not so juicey/important pk trips. That and, the forums itself has its own base of rules and regulations to follow. Easier to explain it like this. It takes a lot of balls to open your mouth and claim false shit. It doesnt take much to flex nuts in your comfort zone and act like big shit. To clans that dont post up on the forums, yet have credible inner clan pking events? It still shows up, because they get encountered and get rewarded something for being out. So regardless, active clans remain active clans. Post or no post. End of the month is here, and the Top clans will be posted.

The main issue and what should be your main focus is to get leaders on board. Sadly most refuse to even co-exist in a bracket or league together because that guarantees the opposition action. Clans now a days rely on starving their opponent of events to close them which will give the clan the "victory" when in reality it just makes the already dead clan world even more dead.
